The price of KSh 8,000 per person sharing includes roundtrip transport from Nairobi, accommodation in bandas at Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site, all meals as per the itinerary (1x lunch, 1x dinner, 1x breakfast), entrance fees to Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site and museum, and the services of a knowledgeable guide from Magiie Wild Safaris.
We recommend packing comfortable walking shoes, light clothing for daytime, a warm jacket or sweater for the evenings, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), a reusable water bottle, personal toiletries, a camera, and any personal medications. If you plan to hike Mt. Olorgesailie, ensure you have appropriate hiking gear.
The retreat involves some walking and an optional moderate hike up Mt. Olorgesailie. The site walks are generally easy, but the mountain trek requires a reasonable level of fitness. Participants are free to opt out of the mountain hike and enjoy more leisure time at the site. Please inform Maggie Wild Safaris in advance if you have any specific mobility concerns.
